Eileen Graham, PhD, Selected for NU-LEAP: Advancing Leadership
June 17, 2025
Please join us in congratulating Eileen Graham, PhD, on being selected to the 2025–2026 Northwestern University LEAP (Leadership Education for Advancement and Promotion) cohort! This prestigious opportunity recognizes Graham’s dedication to leadership development and her commitment to advancing team science and collaboration.
Graham shared that she feels honored to represent MSS in this program. As a Team Scientist leading an expanding research group, she sees this training as a meaningful next step in her career. “The training I receive during this course will help position me as a future leader in our department,” she noted. “Getting more formal training in leadership will benefit not just me but also my growing team.”
She credits Dan Mroczek, PhD, and Judy Moskowitz, PhD, for their influential support and for serving as role models she hopes to emulate. Looking ahead, Graham aspires to be a more effective and compassionate leader—within her team, across MSS, and throughout the Northwestern community.
When asked what advice she’d offer others, she shared this encouragement: “Never hesitate to ask questions, and always look for role models around you. ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’” — Fred Rogers
Congratulations again Eileen Graham on this well-deserved recognition!
